Arsenal returned to the top of the Premier League table following a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium.

A first-half strike from Eberechi Eze proved decisive in a tense encounter that could have significant implications for the title race.

Arsenal FC reclaimed pole position after briefly losing top spot to Manchester City earlier in the week.

Eze’s 10th goal of the season secured a crucial three points, moving Arsenal three points clear, although City still have a game in hand.

Despite controlling large portions of the game, Arsenal failed to extend their lead, leaving the result finely balanced.

Injuries, Missed Chances Raise Late Tension

Arsenal’s performance was disrupted by injuries, with Havertz forced off in the first half and Eze later withdrawn in the second.

Newcastle, led by manager Eddie Howe, created late opportunities but lacked composure in front of goal.

Goalkeeper David Raya made key interventions, including a late save from a Dan Burn header, to preserve Arsenal’s narrow advantage.
