The United States Embassy in Nigeria has issued a security alert warning of potential terrorist threats targeting its facilities in Abuja and Lagos, as well as U.S.-affiliated schools across Nigeria. In a notice released from Abuja, U.S. authorities urged American citizens to exercise heightened vigilance around the embassy and the U.S. Consulate General Lagos, citing intelligence suggesting possible threats against American-linked locations.
